About the Template

The purpose of the portfolio summary is to summarize all projects that you have going on, along with some of their key metrics and status. With that said, I put together this portfolio excel template to help keep track of all your projects. I took some of the key items that I have been asked for to monitor over my years in Project Management, and let that be the baseline.

You can easily add and subtract from the table in the workbook, along with an ‘Options’ tab so you can easily update the values I have set in the validation. To be honest, there isn’t much to the project portfolio summary, just needing the time to come up with a template that you can continue to use. So whether this is exactly what you need, or a close start, I hope this excel template comes in handy for you.
