About This Template

This template is one of my favorites, but it can also unfortunately get tossed in to the “another report!” categories. What I mean by this is that as a Project Manager, you have a lot of reports you need to keep track of. This one sums all those up, but it doesn’t consolidate reports and make you need less. I guess if you have a simple/straight forward project then you could possibly use this one to suffice, but I think in most instances this will be an additional report to your toolkit.

Ok, so with that out the way, like I said before you should absolutely have a status/summary report for your projects. A project status report such as this can help easily summarize all of your information and make it easy to distribute a single document as opposed to sending out multiple and clogging your recipients inbox. Plus, this report helps the audience focus on what they should, and not wonder off and make assumptions simply because they see a red status.

As always, this template is absolutely FREE and if you have any suggestions to make this template more awesome then please feel free to drop me a note in the comments section below.

Enjoy!
